Tiny Jar Farm Privacy Policy

Last updated: · View game →

Tiny Jar Farm is developed by Istikan Studio / Tornet. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the iOS, Android and Steam versions.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your real name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

The game uses the following services, which may collect limited data:

  • Unity Analytics (Unity Technologies) — app-generated user and device identifiers, gameplay events, performance data, crash information, and approximate (country/region) location.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (Google) — app instance identifier, device and operating system information, gameplay events (in-app purchases, plant level-ups, tutorial completion), and, only where permitted, an advertising identifier.
  • Meta App Events (Meta / Facebook) — the same gameplay events (purchases, level-ups, tutorial completion), device information, and, only where permitted, an advertising identifier.
  • Apple Game Center (iOS) — Game Center player identifier, scores, achievements and leaderboard entries.
  • Google Play Games Services (Android) — Play Games player ID, public gamer profile information, and gameplay data.
  • Steam (Valve, on PC) — Steam ID, used for achievements, leaderboards and cloud saves.
  • In-app purchases — transaction identifier, product purchased, price and currency. We never receive your card or payment details; those are handled entirely by Apple, Google or Valve.
  • Cloud saves — your game progress is stored in your own platform account (Google Play Saved Games, Apple iCloud, or Steam Cloud). We do not receive or keep a copy.
  • Bug reports (only if you choose to send one) — the message you write, your device and system information (app version, operating system, device model, hardware and display settings), and a copy of your game save file so we can reproduce the problem.

2. How We Use This Information

  • To improve the gameplay experience and game balance.
  • To analyse game performance and stability, and to fix bugs and crashes.
  • To enable gameplay services such as sign-in, achievements, leaderboards and cloud saves.
  • To measure and improve our advertising — understanding which advertisements lead people to install or purchase the game, so we can spend our marketing budget effectively.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We do share a limited set of data with the following partners:

  • Google (Google Analytics for Firebase / Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook) — gameplay and purchase events and, where permitted, advertising identifiers, used to measure how effective our advertising is.
  • Unity Technologies — analytics data as described above.
  • Apple, Google and Valve — as required to provide sign-in, achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves and purchases.

These partners process data under their own privacy policies.

4. Advertising and Tracking

  • The game does not display advertisements of any kind.
  • The game does use advertising measurement: we share limited event data with Google and Meta so we can tell which of our own advertisements are working. Under Apple’s definition this counts as tracking, which is why the App Store privacy label lists some data as “Used to Track You”.
  • On iOS, this may use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and only if you allow it when the system tracking prompt appears. If you decline, no advertising identifier is used, and measurement falls back to Apple’s aggregated SKAdNetwork.
  • On Android, this may use the Google Advertising ID, subject to your consent in the game and your device settings.
  • In-game consent — the first time you play, the game asks whether you agree to this data collection. If you decline, analytics and advertising measurement stay switched off. You can play the full game either way.
  • iOS tracking permission — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android advertising ID — Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID.
  • Withdrawing consent or requesting deletion — contact us using the details in section 9. You can also delete your local game data from the in-game settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Tiny Jar Farm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained by our service providers according to their own retention policies. Cloud saves remain in your platform account (Google, Apple or Valve) until you delete them or delete your game data. Bug reports and their attachments are kept only as long as needed to investigate the issue.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to This Policy and Contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above, and the game will ask for your consent again where required.
